Warranty and cancellation are two different rights.
Cancellation applies when you change your mind and want to return an item within the cancellation period.
Warranty applies when there is a defect with the product, such as damage, missing parts, or a functional issue.
This article explains the key differences, important deadlines, and how to proceed.

What counts as a defect?
A defect exists when the item is not as expected or cannot be used correctly.
Typical examples include:
- a part is damaged or broken
- parts or accessories are missing
(linking to the topic block Missing parts, partial deliveries & spare parts) - the item differs significantly from the description (e.g. wrong model or colour)
- it cannot be used as intended (e.g. cupboard door does not close)
Normal wear and tear from use or minor visual deviations (e.g. slight colour nuances) do not count as defects.
